For almost 23 years, we have been blessed to call Jorge, and Alejandra, both neighbors, friends, and extended family. There has always been an amazing comfort in knowing who was living near you, and who would be there to help you if you ever needed it. Jorge was definitely one of those people, and I am grateful that we were able to spend even more time together recently in addressing management issues in our building, fighting for our rights as tenants, and sticking together in these challenging moments. As his health worsened, I felt honored to be invited into their home to assist Alejandra with some of his nighttime routines, and, even with his physical pain, sharing in moments of laughter. We have been blessed in so many ways, and in knowing Jorge, that blessing continues to touch my heart, and it will do so for the rest of my life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Alejandra and your family; God bless you all.
