Doris B Wartman

Doris Ann Warman (nee Bradley), 91, of Altadena California, passed away at home on May 26, 2024.  She was born on June 13, 1932, in Altadena.  Doris was an adventurous individual who loved nature and was a strong role model to daughters.

Doris dedicated 50 years of her life as a Medical Technologist with specialty in Blood Banking (MT/SBB/ASCP) in Los Angeles County and served as the Head of Tri-Counties Blood Bank in Santa Barbara for 10 years.  She was a graduate of Altadena Elementary, John Muir High School, and University of Southern California. In her free time, she enjoyed hiking, backpacking, birding and solving crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her daughters Francine Smith (Roger) and Dori Chretin.  Doris was preceded in death by her father Dorian Bradley, mother Edna Lindquist Bradley, and her husband Peter S. Wartman.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Altadena, California, on Friday, June 7th, at 1PM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Pasadena Humane Society or a rescue of your choice.
