Jacqueline Bolles

Jacqueline Bolles, 81, of Altadena, California, passed away on May 21, 2019.

Jacqueline was born on March 25, 1938 to Gerald R. Gilmore and Marian (Ida) Louise Ellis Gilmore in Pittsfield, New Hamshire. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1956.

After graduation, she became a Director of Volunteer Services at Comm. of Massachusetts Lancaster Industrial School for Girls in Lancaster, Massachusetts. She also worked at Weeks School Vergennes in Vermont. Later in Boston, Massachusetts she worked at Golden Hand Lexington. Jacqueline was also a nanny in Boston, Massachusetts and San Francisco, California.

Jacqueline was part of the Randolph Mountain Club, Democratic Socialists of American, and Nashiba Fellowship. She loved cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, canoeing sailing and she also loved german shepherds.

Jacqueline is survived by her children, Susan Bolles and Benjamin G. Bolles; her son and daughter in law, Fridgeir T. Helgason and Giang Yu; her step-grandson, Damien Helgason.
