Alice Noonan Mead

Alice was born in Bayonne, New Jersey. The first of three children to Donal C. Noonan and E. Ruth Noonan. She was a very intelligent and highly motivated child who attended all girls boarding schools in New York. She went on to study English literature at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. In 1960, her family moved to California from New York. She would travel back and forth to complete her studies before finally settling in California permanently in 1961. She then went on to attend USC Law School, where she met the love of her life, Frank F. Mead III. Top of her class, and only 1 of 3 women in the program, Alice forged on to have a 40 year career practicing family law in Orange County. She was a committed Rotarian who was club president at the Monarch Beach Rotary Club. She loved California, gardening, Chopin, convertible sports cars, her pets and entertaining friends and family. She was a wonderful mother who was devoted to her 4 children, 2 stepchildren, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  She is survived by her 4 children; Frank F. Mead IV, Heather McClure, Donal Mead and Sarah Mead; 2 stepchildren, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She has continued on her journey into heaven to be with the love of her life and husband of 55 years,  Frank F. Mead III. She will forever be a shining light on our lives here on Earth. We are so grateful for our time with such a wonderful woman.
