After returning to South Gate for two years, his parents separated and he moved in with his mother, Cindy, to live in the Palmdale/Lancaster area where he finished school. Nick lived his final years in Pasadena, California, where he was an integral part of so many people's lives. He found a loyal and loving group of friends and associates through his dedication to sober living and the fellowship to which he devoted so much of his time.
